TL; DR

  1. Download the WireGuard app
  2. Open your BelkaVPN account and proceed to the Config Generator.
  3. Press “WireGuard,” and a file will immediately download.
  4. Go back to the WireGuard app and press “+” to add a tunnel.
  5. Select Import from file or archive, and click on the file
  6. Switch on VPN.

You’ve probably heard of my new friend WireGuard, and I take it you’re interested. This new VPN Protocol is fast, simple, and, most importantly, conveniently accessible through BelkaVPN! At this point, I honestly don’t know what isn’t. So, let’s get into it.

STEP #1: DOWNLOAD. Of course, how do you think we’d start? By offering oranges to grass? Kidding aside, immediately proceed to Google Playstore. Then, download the Official WireGuard app.

Here’s a picture of what the WireGuard app looks like on Google Playstore. Press “Install,” and you’re good to go!

Now, leave the Playstore and go check out the cool new app you’ve downloaded. When you open it, you’re greeted by this, and the fun part begins.

STEP #2 CONFIGURATION. So, we’ve got the app ready now; we’ll move on to the configuration. With BelkaVPN, everything becomes simple, but we’ll walk you through the whole thing, so don’t you worry!

First, log in to your BelkaVPN account. Then click Dashboard Menu, then Download. Scroll down until you get to the “Config Generator.”

You do know where you’re from. Well, in the locations tab, choose your country.

Now, that all is settled. Press the rectangular green button on the lower right side that says, “WireGuard.” You’ll notice that a file will immediately be downloaded on your phone, and that’s a good sign!

FINAL STEP: SETTING UP. You’ve made it this far, and now it’s time to hit that home run!

Go back to the newly-downloaded app, and press the blue circular button with a plus sign to make a tunnel. Once you’re there, you’ll notice three options: IMPORT FROM FILE OR ARCHIVE, SCAN FROM QR CODE, and CREATE FROM SCRATCH.

But today, I’ll be teaching you the easiest of them all, and since a file was immediately downloaded, we’ll just be importing the file. Select IMPORT FROM FILE OR ARCHIVE, and on your archive, click on the recently downloaded file.

If you’ve successfully imported, it will look like this. You can check all the details of the Import by clicking on it, but if you don’t want to, then it’s totally fine.

We’re down to the last wire, and there are only really two more things to do. Click on the switch of the file on the right. Consequently, this notification will pop up, but this is, of course, merely for your protection.

And there you have it! Congratulations, you have successfully installed WireGuard on your Android, as easy as 1, 2, 3! Thanks for bearing with me on this one, and I’ll see you soon!
